Extending Our Kuleana Through Financial Support
Since 1994, AlohaCare has upheld a long tradition of community giving, committed to advancing health and wellness throughout our islands. In our earliest days we initiated Access to Care grants, followed by Wai Wai Ola grants, funding vital programs and services that continue to thrive. In 2022 we formalized our community giving program, Imua Loa, pledging $1 million annually through charitable giving.
In 2025, AlohaCare launched the AlohaCare Foundation, a 501C3 nonprofit organization, to solidify that commitment. The AlohaCare Foundation empowers Hawaiʻi’s residents and communities by creating and supporting initiatives to improve health access and equity.
Rooted in AlohaCare’s legacy of community giving, the Foundation strengthens Hawaiʻi’s healthcare workforce and safety net through scholarships and grants. As a primary focus, the Foundation aims to reduce health disparities by addressing social determinants of health such as nutrition, access to education, and other vital resources that influence health outcomes.
