Extending Our Kuleana Through Financial Support

As a nonprofit health plan, AlohaCare has always considered it to be our kuleana, or responsibility, to serve as stewards for the betterment of our larger community. The AlohaCare Foundation offers financial support to individuals and organizations who share our vision for a healthier Hawaiʻi.

By helping to strengthen Hawaiʻi’s fragile safety net, more of our local families can receive the care and resources they need to live healthy lives. In 2024, AlohaCare awarded over $1 million in grants, sponsorships, charitable donations and scholarships to advance health and well-being of our island communities.

The AlohaCare Foundation empowers community organizations and health care providers to bring innovative and essential services to our friends and neighbors.

As Hawaiʻi’s most vulnerable continue to face hardships brought about by natural disasters like the Maui Wildfires, rising inflation, and economic challenges, we continue to seek out more ways to elevate the health of all who call Hawaiʻi home. Let’s move our communities toward wellness together.

The application period for grants, donations, and sponsorships are now open. Scholarships open on March 3, 2025.
